"Northwest Icon"This painting, about 12 x 14 went into the Excelsior Inn and Restuarant the other day, after a
collector had stayed at the Inn and purchased three paintings.
The rich iridescent Gold in the background reminded me of an icon, hence the title.
These are stately, silent birds.
